AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 3:16 ¶ "For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. |
Bible Question:
Since the bible clearly states that God loved the world, Why can't I? Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. —1 John 2:15 John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[1] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. |
Bible Answer: Well my friend...That is a figuratively speach. You see the the things in the world will causes us to sin, and the world system will also cause us to sin. Sin is not of God. That is why God is asking us not to love the things of the world and the world. But he is not telling us not to love the people of the world. Because those are the souls that we need to win for his kingdom... Also if you are a dedicated christian, the things that goes on in the world and the things of the world will causes you not to love the world but that is meaing that you will scorn the sin that is in the world, but not the people in the world.. Hope this has been of some help... God bless you.... H4TG -- Hold Kid for this Generation... |
