Subject: Non-denominational theology? |
Bible Note: Lionstrong: Your point is exactlly what I was saying. Everyone has a theology. Even nonbelievers have a theology. Non-denominationalists as far as I am concerned, do not have a "theology of nondenominationlisn" I pointed out that the church we attend, even though they say they are non-denominational are most certianly tied or bound together, if in no other way, than to be gathered in the same belief of non-denomination. When Pastors must be acceped by a group of non-denominational pastors, that proves they have a tie that binds. I am only stating it as I see it, and I am sure others would strongly disagree with my statement. Our pastor is a Didpensational Premillennialists. Although he is not dogmatic, and does point out differing views, he is one that does a lot of counting of weeks in Daniel and Revelation, and connecting of other books and verses. He is polite and listens to differing views and I consider his teachings from his view point, worth listening to and consideration. I see flaws in all end time views. I doubt that any one theory has is all nailed down. I would say as Hank Hanegraaff, that I am a work in progress. Last week Hank had Gary DeMar on, I heard enough that I have ordered his books on end time theology. I would like to really know what he thinks. I like to look out side the box, as it were. The verse you use is the key to understanding the good news. What matters if we are for or against denominations if we have not made Christ Lord? God bless you brother. justme |
