Bible Note: Hi Brent, I know that your post was written nearly three years ago, but this is the first time I have specifically gone to this verse. I would welcome any comments to the other thread of today for this verse. I liked your post, but would have you consider capitalizing the "One" in the last phrase of your post. "Son of Man...could speak of heaven as One who truly knows it." The Amplified reads "there is One Who has come down from heaven--the Son of Man..." I would say that God is not a son of man. He was not a human being in heaven. And rather He came to earth in the likeness of men, but was found to be in appearance as a Man. From the heart, Ray |
