Subject: "The Passion of the Christ" |
Bible Note: Hank My imagination of what took place from the Biblical account far overwhelms the visual graphics this movie provided. I think for many Christians that was emotionally stimulated by this movie they have failed to mediate on the scripture as fully as they need to. That may seem to a harsh statement on the surface but understand what I'm saying we have a tendency to be very casual about our Christianity and remain emotionally detached. In fact in many instances emotional attachment is discouraged. Each time we take communion our emotions should be shook to the very core over the events this act represents. Hearts should be softened, minds reflective and spirits repentant that there isn't a dry eye in the church. Yet most often the emotion which is displayed is complacency and almost boredom. EdB |
