Subject: What is Jesus' message to us? |
Bible Note: The phrase "the disciple whom He loved" is only found in the Gospel of John. It is clear that John used this phrase to describe himself, since he was the author of that book. This is not to say that Jesus loved John more than any of the others, but this is a special designation of the Apostle John. "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me".. (John 21:22) Nolan |
