Bible Question: what is the parable of the lost sheep (in luke 15:3-7 and matthew 18:12-14 ) telling us about the way we relate to each other and the way God wants us to act with each other? |
Bible Answer: For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11 Jesus is the Good Shepherd - read John 10. The parable of the lost sheep is not about our relationship with others, but it is about our relationship with God. We are "lost" until we are "found" in Jesus! As we grow in our relationship with the Shepherd, we will sense the urgency of His call to the many lost sheep that are in our midst. Let's introduce the Good Shepherd to these "lost sheep" and encourage them to respond to His call! Blessings, Mommapbs |
