Bible Question (short): Which reading? |
Question (full): Greetings Truthfinder! I can't tell from your post which reading you think is original! The evidence seems to be better for the reading 'monogenes theos'. This is the reading supported by the papyrus manuscripts which tend to be the oldest manuscripts. While, the reading 'monogenes uios' is heavily supported by the uncials. So, I guess to continue this discussion, I would ask which reading you believe is original? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
