Bible Question: Salvation comes to those who believe and receive the messiah. Is it possible for a six year old to receive salvation. My friend's daughter that age says with confidence that she was saved after watching a children's programme on TBN.How do we respond to this as parents? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Anjao! I can't speak for everyone, but I accepted Christ when I was six years old (at VBS). That was 31 years ago! Statistically, 75 percent of Christians came to Christ between the ages of 7 and 11. So, not only do I believe that six year olds can make a meaningful committment to Christ. I also believe that churches ought to be focusing more of their time, effort, and resources of children under the age of twelve. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
