Bible Note: This is the intepretation that I understand also. There is one God in three persons. "God the father", "God the Son" , "God the Holy Spirit". Co-eternal and Co-Equal and distinct (three individuals) There are scriptures that show the Farther is GOD Matt. 16:16,17; John 6:27,44,45; 20:17; Rom. 1:7; 1 Cor. 1:3; 2 Cor. 1:2; Eph. 1:3; etc. There are scriptures that show the Son is God John 1:1,14; 20:28,29; Phil. 2:6-8; Heb. 1:8,9; Col. 2:9; Isa. 9:6. There are scriptures that show the Holy Spirit is God Acts 5:3,4; Eph. 4:30; 1 Thess. 4:8. Here are scriptures that show they are distinct Hebrews 1:5 , 2 Corinthians 1:3 You almost have to accept the Bible for what it says. There are many things to me that are not explained clear and sometimes hard to interpret. But this topic is repeatly revealed and I think one of the most important. Understanding and excepting , not leaning on your understanding but accept what the Bible is saying. God the Farther can talk to God the Son because they are distinct individuals but yet they are equal because they are one. Same is for God the Holy Spirit, John 14:16,26; 15:26; 16:7,13-15. I hoped I have helped and not hurt. This is the first time I have attempted to repond to a question rather than asking a question. Hopefully I have given you the right scriptures in the right place. But I felt that I needed to express what has been taught to me. |
