Subject: Can one be christian and NOT a disciple? |
Bible Note: Hey Doc, Acts 11:26b The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. You are right on with your statement. I heard someone say once that if Jesus wasnt ones Lord He would not be savior. I grew up during a time when the teaching Jesus as savior which is as it should be,but his Lordship was for the most part untaught. That was where I was at for many many years. It was an excuse for me to continue in the life I was living. Lordship has always been part of the package. We wont have one without the other. It took me 43 years to finally figure it out. Thank God fore grace and a whole lot of mercy. God gave us the full meal deal when he sent his Son for us,he expects no less of us. In Christ, lionheart |
