Bible Question: Perhaps I'm simpleminded, but I don't understand the fuss over the movie: anti-semitism and all. If Jesus came to die for our sins, why should we blame the Jews for killing Him? In the same logic, we shouldn't even blame Judas for betraying him. Or am I missing something? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Mat 27:19-25; Mar 15:9-15; Luk 22:1-6, 52, 22:13-23; Jhn 19:16-17 ... I took snipets of each Gospel -The Jewish leaders wanted to kill Him. -Judas was willing to betray Him. -Pilate and Herod could have freed Him. -Pilate gave into the crowd, who were influenced by the Jewish leaders -The Roman soldiers executed Him ... but, it is I who is responsible (1 Pet 3:18 ...) |
