Personal profile for user screen name: jr8 As a child I was raised in the Baptist faith. Repented of my sins, baptized and thought I was done. Threw the years I sinned and fail short many times, but never gave up on God. Just always thought I would get to him when I could. The time finally came August 30, 2003. God began working in my life. I am now studying the Bible and learning what God wants of me. I must say I thought it would be easy and my life would turn around. Well it isn't easy and my life did turn around, it got harder.. But I know that’s the growing stage and a testing period. Remember to pray me, that I don't give up but continue to seek Gods will anmd try to follow his way. This is my testimony: I am and have been employed as a law enforcement officer for the past 15 years. I have seen nothing but evil and disappointment to the point that I thought the whole world was shot. I wasn't friendly, helpful or loving. Just ill and selfish. On August 30, 2003 my daughter was in a very serious automobile accident. Life threatening to the point of only a slim chance or surviving. No chance of ever walking again. The first night in the trauma unit waiting room the phone began to ring , ring and ring. Friends, families and others began to call. The waiting room began to fill with people, some I didn't even know, offering there support, prayers, food anmd money. I thought our business would be lost, with no one to run it because of us being at the hospital. For 3 weeks, our competitors helped keep our doors opened and we did not miss a minute of trade. I began to realize that the world was not all evil and that good remained in a lot of people. It has given me the desire to have what is in there heart and to help others as we have been blessed. Today my daughter is alive, at her own home, after 2 months in the hospital and therapy. We were told that she is a miracle and the hospital staff had never seen someone survive what she survived. She has went from near dead, with no chance of walking, to walking long distances with only a cain and short distances without any aid of a cain. Praise God !!
