Bible Question: Why do you think that the Shepherds were choosen to be told of Jesus' birth by the angels? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Matt 2:1-12 ; Luke 2:8-20 ... shortstop45us, Let me add another thought to what was already said. This just came to my mind ... they were the only Jews who were ready to listen and take action. The others were just amazed and I don't think they went to see their Messiah (Luke 2:11, 18). The magi (Matt 2:1-12) were on the opposite end. They were the king makers. The religious leaders didn't rush to see Him either. Hope this helps, Searcher |
