Subject: Questions on Luke 17: 5-10 |
Bible Note: Thank you DL5 - I think that perhaps many are "looking for rewards" and offer service based upon this self centered desire. But as believers, we already have our reward; our reward is Christ. We are joint heirs with Him! Apart from Him we are nothing and "self" service is worthless, so too is any service apart from Christ (1 Cor 3:5-10). Our duty or obligation is to respond to God according to the faith that He has given each of us. We believe in Jesus and then what? All to many believers stagnant in their faith because they don't know God requires or they are ignorant of the potential of their faith IN and WITH Christ! My reward is IN Christ, and being IN Him, I am confident of God's pleasure with me (This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased . . . if I am IN HIM, then He is pleased with me too!) mommapbs |
