Bible Question: Luke 16:19-31 is a parable that Jesus used for illustrative purposes; John 3:13 is an emphatic statement of Jesus which means it is a fact. How do you explain this? |
Bible Answer: John Hermes, they are not in heaven in the parable. Abraham's side (bosom) and Paradise (Luke 23:43) are not the same as heaven. Some take these two places figuretively. Steve |
