Bible Question:
Hi,I am new here. Its nice meeting you. Just want to know if the Bible says anything about being a christian when your parents doesn't really want you to be because they have seen so many hypocrisy and selfish behaviour in church??? thank you for your reply! |
Bible Answer: 38Lulu, It helps to think of the church as a hospital for sinners, where they are healed by Jesus. People there are at various stages of healing. Many are struggling with the sin in their lives at they are being cnformed to His image by the working of the Holy Spirit. And there are even the Judases in today's church as he was in the small church of the often self centered apostles which Jesus Himself called. So we should not be surprised or shocked to find sinners, including hypocites in the church. I might even be identified as one. Check with my wife, she will know and give you a straight answer. ;-) Emmaus |
