My inattention is slightly mitigated by the fact that I mentioned Luke 7:34 which is the same event that Matthew speaks of in 11:19. :-) I've often thought how the personalitiezs of Jesus and John the Baptist were quite different. Yet Christ called John the greatest of prophets. John was a great servant of the Lord. Clearly, our imitation of Christ is not about personality. I do agree with you. Christ is our perfect example.
