Bible Note: CDBJ Boy am I glad I came back and read this thread. I have been pondering your question since you asked it and I could find nothing relating Peter to Luke. Although Luke readily admits he is giving a second hand account there is little indication where he got his info. We know Luke traveled with Paul by Acts 10:16 where he begins using "WE" in instead of 'they' or 'them'. I was wondering all through the synoptic gospel mess to see if I could trace back to Peter and nothing. Now Emmaus has me wondering about Mark and Peter I had never heard that one either. I was always taught Mark was an eye witness that wrote from personal observation. Then there is the Q. Oh may aching back! Be blessed thanks again for the interesting book if you will stop asking these tough questions I may even get to read it. :-) EdB |
