Bible Question: Im a back sliden christian, X youth minister, and people tell me all the time that once called your always called! I have tasted of the most high and I know Gods right where I left him, but I cant seem to give my life back to him!! I want to but dont know how. Jesus said he was married to the back slider! HOW DO YOU JUST LET GOD? I want to but some times I fill like its in vain! I miss my alone time with him! Have you ever been so close to God that You could fell him, smell him, even taste his presence? I have and I know there is no no happiness for me until Im back in his presence! I need your prayers and most of all I need a word from God! I need him. |
Bible Answer: Dear Needing: As Doc has pointed out, this Forum is neither designed nor equipped to be an on-line counseling service. Your appeal does strike me as both urgent and sincere, however, and I feel constrained to "counsel" you to this extent: get thee to a Bible-preaching church at once! And seek out the counsel of the pastor, the church elders, and avail yourself of the fellowship of the saints. You need Him, true enough; and you also need His church, for in it you will find the strength that you won't find as a lone sheep who has lost his way from the fold. --Hank |
