AMPLIFIED 2015 | Mark 8:33 But turning around [with His back to Peter] and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, "Get behind Me, Satan; for your mind is not set on God's will or His values and purposes, but on what pleases man." |
Subject: Was Satan speaking through Peter ?? |
Bible Note: chearie,prayon,jerhovah52- If we check the amplified version the pictuire is more clear. Jesus' "rebuke" to Peter was in turning His back to him. Jesus then addresses Satan-not Peter. Satan was using Peter to try to talk Jesus out of completing His work. Jesus was always aware of activity in the spirit world as well as what was going on in the physical world. Cherie-I,m 100percent saved too and am being-sanctified-over time just as the pot is still being shaped by the potter. in Him angel1 |
