Bible Question:
Matthew 7:11, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!" In John 14:8 Philip said to Jesus, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." What do you think? Is knowing the Father enough of a way for us? From the heart, Ray |
Bible Answer: In Genesis 15:1 God tells Abraham Do not be afraid Abram.I am your shield, your very great reward.I dont know if I would look at knowing the Father as a way as much as I would look at it as the way. God is what we get I dont know that it gets any better than that.I guess the big question here now is do we get complacent or do as Paul states in Philippians 2:12 work out your salvation with fear and trembling;13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. I would pray that all of us will be inspired to go above and beyond where our walk with God is concerned. In Christ, lionheart |
