Subject: As Christians what is our role in war |
Bible Note: I want to make a sincere apology to anyone who is offended by my question about a Christians role in war. I find it hard to read the old testament with all the killing that takes place compared to the new testament teachings. Would I defend my family if they were attacked? I probably would. I believe that the armed forces should be more defensive than aggressive but that is a personal view. You can be a Christian anywhere and the law you have to follow is God's law as you understand it. My quest is to understand the way to live in this world in such a way that I obey what Jesus said in Matt 28v19-20. God bless John D |
