Bible Note: Hoppy, What is the difference between a creedobaptist and a peadobaptist? What do the two groups believe? I'll agree with you repentance is a Requisit. The bible has never taught infant baptism and I think we both can agree on that. It's impossible for a baby to repent anyway. There are allot of arguments where age of accountability is. But if we read our bibles we get some pretty good clues. In jewish culture children had thier barmitzpha at twelve years old. While we cant etch that in stone now in terms of accountability. I think it sets the bar pretty well. We cant expect and we shouldn't babies, little kids or very young kids to comprehend repentance whats associated with it. But we we can train up and raise our children during these formulitive years and that time of accountability and understanding will arrive in due time. Good post, but what is your understanding based on what you've learned from the bible? I believe that if one makes the bible thier central focus then people can get on the same page.
