Bible Note: What is wrong with this picture? What is wrong my friend is you can’t or will not read.
Below is a brief sequential copy of the thread. You will notice IF YOU WILL ONLY READ what I wrote that NOWHERE did I challenge your position on the rapture. I said the rapture aside what you did say was astute (I now believe you stumbled on it). That was as you stated when people if they should find themselves wrong on the rapture would even run to false prophets and teachers. I said the fact that people would go look in the wrong place for a answers should be a concern to us all. As I have repeatedly said I’m not entering into the rapture debate I was simply trying to congratulate you on making an observation.

You in turn have made every attempt to make me out the fool because you think for some reason I don’t support your position on the rapture. You my friend don’t know what I believe on the rapture from this thread because I never expressed it.

That my friend is what is wrong with this picture. You have repeatedly tried to put me into a position opposite of you in reference to the rapture and I never stated my position. In other words you were arguing about nothing. Which makes me wonder seriously about anything you have to say. That is the picture you painted. Now before you add anymore color do yourself a favor reread this thread and then say “I’m sorry”

Note: If I am wrong, then you can say "I told you so" on our way up to meet the Lord in the air:-) But if I am correct, then you will see some man rise to power and confirm a seven year covenant with Israel (remembering that every agreement with Israel is not front page news.) You will see a temple built and sacrifices begun, and then Elijah as well as another prophet/witness will appear, there will troop movements toward Jerusalem, then the "antichrist" will seat himself in the temple, and... well, you know the rest.

I would encourage you to ask the Lord about this, and then get out your Bible and search diligently to see if these things are so (especially you men who have been entrusted with the safety of your families and congregations.) I shudder to think what will happen to the average Christian who has been led to expect a PreTrib rapture, when the antichrist is revealed. Will they flee from those pastors who were mistaken, straight into the eager arms of the false teachers and false prophets so often warned about? I don't know. My only obligation is to warn you. Now I will consider the warning sounded. . Maybe that's why Jesus said, (Will I find faith when I come?) CDBJ

The battle of pre trib and mid trib has raged for years, I have an opinion as does everyone. However you said one thing that to me is prophetic, ‘if anything occurs contradictory to what their Pastor has said many Christians will run in all direction even into the arms of false teachers and prophets.’
Maybe it is time for Christians to step up and become responsible for what they believe because they have studied and prayed and this is what the Holy Spirit has shown them

Note: Edb, a lot of believers are pre-trib, as I was, but we must remember that God's word is infallible, there are no contradictions in it! That being the case, why does Jesus say that the tribulation will be shortened for the elect's sake? The church has always consisted of believers only, and believers will not suffer the wrath of God. So then as a result, the tribulation period of Matt. 24: in not the wrath of God.
Someone said, yea but the church is raptured before the tribulation and these are the tribulation saints. Even if that were true, which it is not, they are still saints of God, and His children and won't suffer His wrath: If they could then we have a contradiction of one of God's promises! Think back to what was ask of the Disciples when they knew that He was going away. They wanted to know when He would be coming back and what would be the signs precedes His coming, so they would know what to look for. The first thing that Jesus said in answer to their question was, take heed that no man deceive you. Now if the rapture takes place before all the tribulation takes place, why does he bother to give the warning?

Note: Put your soap box away and read what I said. I really don't care which position you support. Pre trib and mid trib have been discussed at great length here. All I said was, what you said about "Christians" flocking to false teachers when something rattles their world is true and should be alarming to the church in general.

If you reread this and your face isn’t red, stop think and read it again. I never once said anything about your position on the rapture.
