Bible Note: stj, You said: "To take the time to argue the ridiculous nonsense that you have on your plate would be just that.... Ridiculous!" stj, how can you have confidence in what you believe if it can't stand up to Scripture? I have not quoted man's wisdom in order to make my point. I have tried to quote Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura). Please point out the areas where I have used man's wisdom. To just make your point then use nothing to back it up is not only unfair to me, but it's not edifying to anyone. Instead of dealing with my position you choose to quote Scripture out of context to try to discourage me. The only thing that will move me, and those like me, away from the ideas I've presented is for Scripture to be presented reasonably and in the proper context that disproves the points made. I have done my best to answer JCARTER's question in a straightforward and honest way to the best of my ability. It seems to me that the purpose of this site is to provide Scriptural understanding to those looking for answers, which is what I've done. May you find the peace you are seeking, Coper |
