AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble and sin [by leading him away from My teaching], it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone [as large as one turned by a donkey] hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. Subject: Do all little ones believe? |
Bible Note: Charis, I will sing to the Lord in my heart the day long! I will sing of His mercy! I will sing of His love! I will sing of His grace! Thank you for responding to my question. Forgive my delay in responding to you. It's been a busy day. As I read further in Matthew 18, I see where Jesus mentions the "little ones again". Matt 18:10 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven. Matt 18:14 "So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish. If I understand your first response correctly, we that are saved are these "little ones". Am I correct in assuming that? If so, please, if you do not mind, explain. Not a challenge at all. I'm addicted to reaching a better understanding of God's Word. Thank you Yor brother in Christ, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
