Subject: How Holy Is Marriage? |
Bible Note: It's amazing how one question can generate other questions. Why is one homosexual? Regarding Mt 6:16; Have some contemporary Christians become Sadducees or Pharisees? Sin is sin for sure, homosexuality is worn on ones' sleeve. What about the sin in ones' mind that can't be seen or the sins performed in secret places kept from the view of others? Is anyone sin free? What sin is unforgivable? Regarding 2Cor 6:14 and 1Cor 10:21; My son (42) is Homosexual and has been with his partner for 24 years. My grandson (17) most likely will be. Neither are so because of "lust" or reasons of the "flesh". I have witnessed their suffering. Does/can the spirit dwell in a sinner? Ro 8:9 "You however, are controlled not by sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." For anyone who has judged and cannot have “brotherly” close relationship with a homosexual consider this: My children did not ask for their “affliction” as I did not ask for mine (bi-polar depression) nor did by friend ask for diabetes. Sadly, there are no medications for homosexuality. Perhaps that’s why the term “gay” was invented? Do we treat these people as the lepers were treated? Thank you keliy for your sound answer, and for your willingness to answer humility’s question. Respectfully, robert |
