Bible Note: Hi Makarios, I think that the crowds must have heard about the news of John the baptist as well as Jesus although the Scriptures do not tell us that. But the crowds were without their shepherd, John the baptist, and Jesus noted that they were like sheep without a Shepherd as well. And He began to teach them many things.
