Subject: Unpardonable sin |
Bible Note: refugestar: One must be careful to keep the dialogue between Jesus and the Pharisees and the croud in order and in context. After reading this over the years and reading what other biblical scholars have written, it seems to mean the following. The unpardonable sin is not something a born again Christian can committ. This sin is a irreversible hardness of ones heart, and only those who have turned their backs on God and rejected all faith and refuse to acknowledge God's power in Christ have committed the unforgivebal sin. From my view point looking at whom to witness to, I personally believe I should share the Gospel with whom ever might listen. Only God knows who is lost forever. Perhaps we might say everyone who rejects Jesus as Lord has indeed committed the unpardonable sin. Often when I have had someone ask what the unpardonable is , it is a Christian that fears they committed it. No sin except rejecting Jesus Christ is unpardonable, whould you not agree?
