Bible Note: Hi justme, If you are open to the "power from on high", that holy spirit power, that spiritual power that Jesus had; then let's consider Ephesians 1:13. You spoke of believing in Him and being sealed "of the Holy Spirit". I believe that we were sealed with the holy spirit of promise, that promised gift from God. The Spirit of truth reminds us of all the things that Jesus said; the word of God. We hear the message of truth, the saving words of the gospel of salvation which is given as a down payment of our inheritance. We are given a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. Ephesians 1:13-17. It is when we are sealed with the holy spirit and are washed in the word of God, that we express faith in the Lord Jesus and have that saving knowledge of Him. We can not see the finger or the spirit of God any more than we can see the wind that blows. But that is the way of the Spirit of God. I believe that unless we are born of water and the spirit, we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. If we are born from above, become believers and enter into the kingdom of God, then we do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit but rather we recognize His spiritual power. From the heart, Ray |
