Bible Question: What about those that have to work on the sabbath day do to rules of there jobs,How will they be judged? And may i receive scriptures to back statements. |
Bible Answer: Simple answer. The sabbath rule does not apply anymore since Jesus. In Matt 12:1 to 11 The deciples worked for food(picking heads of grain) and the Pharisees tried to condem them but Jesus illistrates that he is Lord of the sabbath. In Matt 12:6 Jesus says "But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here." Refering to the priests breaking the sabbath in the temple. He also says Matt 12:11 And He said to them, "What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?".
