Bible Question: Then what can you says about God telling Abraham that he will the father of many nations? Isn't it God's plan to save all nations from the beginning including the pagans? |
Bible Answer: I don’t see where God is dealing with Nations, as your post might suggest, with the exception of Israel. I would like to see in the Bible where the Lord suggests what you are saying. “Isn't it God's plan to save all nations from the beginning including the pagans?” The offer of salvation is going out to all individuals but not all, as individuals, are willing to trust in God’s solution, His precious Son Jesus! It’s like throwing a life ring to a drowning man, he doesn’t have to take hold of the ring if he doesn’t want to, it’s up to his personal will but the provision is there for him. Jesus is the only provision that God has provided for mankind and we better trust in Him with all we have or it will be eternal doom. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God isn’t willing that any should perish, be it nation or otherwise, but He created us with a free will and most aren’t willing to put all of their faith in God’s provision, Jesus! To say that God will save all the nations kind of goes against the following. Matthew 25:32-41 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: [33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. [34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: [35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: [36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. [37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? [38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? [39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? [40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. [41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Have a great day, CDBJ |
