Bible Question: When Jesus responded to the two blind men in Matt. 9:27-30, "According to your faith will it be done to you," (NIV)did Jesus heal them or did their faith in Jesus ability to heal, heal them? |
Bible Answer: dweaver, I think it is like salvation itself. Eph 2:8-9 say we are saved by grace through faith. Our faith is only a conduit through which the power of God may flow. No faith no power, great faith great power. Many places in scripture say that the "just shall live by faith". Paul had an infirmity in his flesh and God did not heal him because he said that his grace was sufficient for him, 2 Cor 12:7-10. So, we can't say with certainty that God has not healed us because of our lack of faith. When it comes to living our lives faith is hugh, but when it comes to physical healing I am not so sure. But I am sure that if the Lord does not return before hand we will all pass throught the door of death only to meet our Lord Jesus on the other side. But to give you a direct answer I think it was Jesus' power that healed them through their faith. God bless, tortoise |
