Bible Note: Dear nevvvvine, just for clarification, Jonah was not depressed as you say, but neither was he 'mad' Jonah 4:1 Jonah did not wait until God destroyed Nineveh, though their repentance was indeed transitory, he, (Jonah) would have had to wait some considerable time, most scholars believe it was at least an hundred years.. Perhaps read the story again, it's a short book. John |
