Bible Note: CDBJ What you have just described is what this forum is famous for "proof texting". Taking isolated verses to prove a point ignoring the fact there are other verse in direct conflict with the fact that verse supposedly just proved. That should tell everyone there is something wrong with their "proof text" but alas it doesn't. It only seems to make them want to fight that much nastier. I would love to discuss this with you, but there is no way I would attempt to do that on this forum. I simply have no desire for that much abuse. Please do not take this as any reflection on you, it has nothing to do with you. Your right again about the first three and half years, Jesus I believe does call this period the beginning of sorrow. However the church commonly calls the seventy week or all seven years of Daniel, the Great Tribulation. I suspect you must have traveled outside the US or have been exposed to teaching from outside the US. Most Christians in other nations do not hold to pre trib, mid trib or post trib. I think the closest you can describe them is non rapture post trib. They see the events of I Thess 4:15 and the second coming as one. Interesting decision but I'm afraid very controversial and I have had my fill of controversy on this forum. EdB |
