Bible Note: Justme I agree and I think you will also agree that most of these abuses are seen in other denominations and not just in the Pentecostal arena. I will admit an inordinately high number do occur in people that hold to the Pentecostal theology but I believe that is because so many so called Pentecostal churches are independent and refuse to accept any type of correction. Again I'm of the opinion it is caused by money loving false teachers but it is perpetuated by people that are seeking supernatural manifestations instead of seeking God. We all know this is wrong. But it is equally wrong to ascribe this type of behavior to all Pentecostal/Charismatics as the strange fire conference seemed to do. There was very little I disagreed with that was said at the conference as many are guilty of exactly what was charged. What I disagree with was the implication that all Pentecostals and Charismatics tolerate those |
