Subject: Why does Jeremiah think he was deceived? |
Bible Note: Nolan, I think he wasn't deceived or even overpowered into bringing the bad message. He had a choice and knew it was bad news, from the beginning. He, like Job, wasn't happy with God and spoke out of turn. I did the same as a child. I knew my parents did the right thing. I wanted them to take part of the blame ... and maybe underneath, Jeremiah wanted God to prove He was right. S |
