Bible Note: Greetings Ray! Djconklin is correct concerning the capitalization of Hebrew. Hebrew has no upper or lower case. There is generally only one form of a letter, except in some cases where a final form my differ. But, there is no capitalization at all in Hebrew. In Greek, most manuscripts up to the 9th century were all capitals, while most manuscripts after that time were all lower case. So, in effect, capitalization in the original languages was either non-existent or meaningless. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
