Another things is when I read the bible I am having a hard time understand who said what because God didn't say everything in the bible. Please help |
Bible Answer: Towanda, There are many reasons people give, why 9/11 happened or anything happens. He is all knowing and we cannot understand the reasons. I know our Lord suffered. I like to look at Job. He had it together with the Lord and the world. Read the first two chapters of Job. Then, he suffered greatly. When he lost everything, except his wife, he worshipped God and did not blame Him (1:20-22). Then in Job 42:5, "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You" Job sees that God was working with him, in his growth. Verse 6 continues "Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes." We need to ask God what are you teaching me as we humble ourselves with our faces and knees on the ground, like Job. We may not understand the why to our liking, now, or later. I'd hope He'd explain it when we all get to heaven. I hope this helps. Searcher PS There are many web sites that give answers, too. |
