Bible Note: Hi fborn, I know that you don't always put your posts in ALL CAPS; so I don't know if you are shouting at me or not. :) One of the Scriptures that is alluded to in your post is John 5:18, "For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God." We should not think that we can be equal with God. Jesus was God's Son; we are only adopted sons. Personally, I go with the NASB for Isaiah 33:6. Yet, I go with the NKJ for Isaiah 33:10, "Now I will rise," says the Lord; "Now I will be exalted, Now I will lift Myself up." From the heart, Ray |
