Bible Note: Greetings Lightning56! I have read Isaiah 11:1, Genesis 49:8-12 and Genesis 49:22-26, and I see that Jesus Christ is the 'Branch', being a descendant from the line of Judah. Isaiah 11:1 confirms that Jesus is the 'branch' spoken of, since the 'branch' is from the stem of Jesse. This is the only way to interpret these passages. Blessings to you, Makarios |
