Bible Question:
I heard a Bible teacher say that Paul was not very eloquent in speech. Can anyone give me scripture to support this point? |
Bible Answer: Paul, as well as the other New Testament writers, rarely reached the heights of literary excellence that characterize the exquisite poetry of the Old Testament. In 1 Corinthians 13, however, Paul gives us a stirring and beautiful celebration of love. It shares honors with Psalm 23 as being among two of the best-known and most-beloved chapters of all Scripture. --Hank |
