Subject: Pologomy Allowed? |
Bible Note: Michael Draves - It is hardly necessary to read a paper by the "Rev" Caleb Mathebula or anyone else in order to find out what God's plan is for the union of a man and a woman (both singular nouns, by the way). "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24). Jesus quotes this verse in Matthew 19:5 and continues, in verse 6, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." ...... This doesn't sound like an endorsement of polygamy to me. --Hank |
