Bible Question (short): What commandments to keep? |
Question (full): If you choose not to keep the 4th commandment why do you choose to keep the other nine? Is there a ranking system where one is more important than another? Are you saying that none of them are important because Christ died. In John 14:15, John 14:21, John 15:10 what commandments are Jesus referring to? Jesus hadn't died yet so there was no new covenant yet. What commandments of his Father was he keeping? If Jesus superceded the covanent why did he follow any of the Mosaic laws. 1John 2:3 says we know that we know Him if we keep his commandments. What commandments? 1John 5:3 says if we love God we will keep his commandments. What commandments? Rev 12:17, 14:12, and 22:14 says God knows us because we kept his commandments. I need to know what those are so when Jesus comes again He will know me. Thanks for the help |
