Bible Note: Hello, Amen brother, We should always lift up Jesus 24/7. But this is not what the forth commandment is about. We are told by God himself to set apart one day per week for Him. Yes we are to be fully persuaded in our minds about everything we do, but if God tells me to keep THE seventh day holy I will. This is not any day of the week, we know that the seventh day is the day before the first day in which Jesus resurrected. Many are quick to admit that easter falls on SUNday, and every week many worship God on the day that commemorates the resurrection. BUT when it comes to what day is the sabbath more than many become purposefully ignorant, THE seventh day is obviously the last day of the week and falls on the day before the first day, and this is the day that God chose for us to set appart for Him. I have been keeping the sabbath holy (most of the time) for many years, and it is such a blessing to look forward to during a hectic week, God's rest day. Happy Sabbath God bless you Jeff W |
