AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 12:11 'Now you are to eat it in this manner: [be prepared for a journey] with your loins girded [that is, with the outer garment tucked into the band], your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; you shall eat it quickly--it is the LORD'S Passover. |

Bible Note: Hi Jellybean and InGod, In Ex. 11:8 the Lord thru Moses says: And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger. It sounds like the Israelites would be "sent" out (to put it kindly) after the angel of death had gone thru the land, and that's why they were told to eat this first passover dressed ready to be on the move quickly. any other thoughts? blessings cheri |
