Bible Note: While you failed to back up your claims, I have ... and I hope you do in return, Does the Bible teach us we DON'T have to walk in the light as He is in the light in order to be saved? ... No ... we don't have to add anything in our own efforts to be saved ... but, we need let Him work in us (Eph 2:8-10). Or, does the Bible teach even if we walk in DARKNESS we are still saved? ... I don't believe we can walk in darkness, after we are saved. There are people who claim they are Christians, but are not (1 Jo 1:5-2:2). Does the Bible teach us we know we are saved even if we DON'T repent or keep His commandments? ... We do rneed to repent to be saved (Acts 2:38) ... keeping His commandments only show that we love Him (John 14:15). Does the Bible teach us we can forsake the assembly and NOT gather in worship and prayer, singing praises unto God, partaking of the Lord supper upon the first day of the week and still be saved? ... No ... Hebrews 10:25 and other passages do not say these are not saved. Are there scriptures that teach us we can never fall from grace? Not in my opinion (Eph 2:8-10) Kevlee confessed that he has not been in the light or has been living the Christian life the Bible commands us to live. Are His commandments mere suggestions or does the Bible teach: ... Kevlee may be mistaught ... as I think you are. We must obey His commandments to be saved? ... No, see above. Satan believed, and didn't walk in the light. Is he saved? His demons believed that there was on God (Jam 2:19) ... in their head ... but, belief is not enough (Rom 10:-15-13). Jane Doe ... now disprove what I have said by Scripture ... and remember the next time the principle of Galatians 6:1-2. |
