Bible Note: Searcher, I beg to differ, and want to kindly and respectfully ask: Does the Bible teach us we DON'T have to walk in the light as He is in the light in order to be saved? Or, does the Bible teach even if we walk in DARKNESS we are still saved? Does the Bible teach us we know we are saved even if we DON'T repent or keep His commandments? Does the Bible teach us we can forsake the assembly and NOT gather in worship and prayer, singing praises unto God, partaking of the Lord supper upon the first day of the week and still be saved? Are there scriptures that teach us we can never fall from grace? Kevlee confessed that he has not been in the light or has been living the Christian life the Bible commands us to live. Are His commandments mere suggestions or does the Bible teach: We must obey His commandments to be saved? Satan believed, and didn't walk in the light. Is he saved? Yes, Kevlee can ask God for forgiveness and strength to repent, and as long as Kevlee continues to walk in the light and obey His commandments, Kevlee can have the peace of mind he is saved. There are no scriptures that teach once saved, always saved. Kevlee, will you take advantage of free Bible lessons? If so, please write: Benton Church of Christ, P.O. Box 228, Benton, Ky 42025, asking them to be added to the free lessons, and providing them with your address. You work at your own pace.
