Bible Question:
I am dissappointed in your answer to my question, I thought that if someone asked a question that someone would answer it not redirect them to another location. If you know the answer than answer it dont send me to someplace else to try to look for it. Im pretty sure that by redirecting people that you have made a lot of people leave this site. Now I'll ask again as simply as possible and this time I want an answer not a redirection or a question directed at me. Are there verses in the bible that clearly state that oral sex is wrong? I mean actually verses not someones opinion. I want to have verses to look up on this, and be able to understand the menaing. |
Bible Answer: Actually, Hank did give you an answer and was just trying to point out the valuable resources this forum offers. Many people, myself included, have overlooked the simple use of the search feature on the forum to discover topics of interest that have been discussed in depth. Another feature of the website (or a concordance) is the ability to enter a word and have it search the entire Bible for you. This is a handy feature when you are looking for a particular word and not just a concept. You stated that you wanted a verse that clearly states oral sex is wrong, if you do a search of the word oral, you will not find it in the NASB, NIV, or KJV. Does this mean it is okay to have oral sex? Nope. It means you need to change your search approach from word to topic. Topical Bibles/Concordances come in very handy when trying to research concepts vs actual words. Did I answer your question? No, I think the other two post have answered the question just fine. My purpose is trying to teach you 'how to fish' vs 'giving you a fish'. |
