Bible Question:
A young lady who can sing like a lark, was our lead praise singer. She was already a husbandless single mother. She became pregnant again, but the pastors/elders allowed her to continue leading the praise service. The pastor's wife has a cousin who was divorced after having an affair with a man. He has remarried another woman, and he is now the lead praise singer. How should a Church, particularly the elders and/or the pastor handle this? Should 1 Cor5:1-7 be applied? His, Bereaniam |
Bible Answer: Hi Dear sister. First of all, the Pastor and the deacons of your church need to get BORN AGAIN. I would not be in the least surprised if The Spirit of God has already departed from the place. Your pastors and elders are not just names but have a serious responsibility before The Lord. To put up with such carnality and sin and then to display it all before the congregation, gives a clear sign to the world that this is acceptable in the eyes of a HOLY GOD. Well I have news for you. W R O N G!!!! The buck stops at the top in this instance and BE AWARE, God is not mocked and whatsoever your Pastor and elders sow, that shall they also reap. 1 Cor 6 v 9 spells it out clearly. |
